Interview
The interview itself with the hiring manager is fine. However, the process has been unprofessionally handled - TA doesnt bother to talk to me until they have assigned a hefty take home assignment, which usually took 2-3 man days to finish. Then, they couldn't match my salary expectations, what they can offer will effectively set myself back for 7yrs. Even after they sent over the assignment I requested to flush out the compensation expectation first prior investing time into it, the TA insisted to talk about it ONLY after I finished the assignment. Extremely unprofessional and lack of basic common sense of empathy, shows no respect to my time at all.
