I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Co-op (Leeds, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
Applied online and did the is co-op right for you assessment. Few days later got an email inviting me to an interview with the store manager. Really friendly and chilled guy, first asked some introductory questions and then went onto the behavioural questions. Then told me about co-op's history and asked about my availability. Next day got a phone call offering me a job. Overall was an easygoing application process.
Easy and straightforward. My interviewer was super chill so it was a vibe and we ended up chatting and laughing the whole way through. Clock itt. They asked about previous times where you showed good customer service and worked as a team.

Question 1
When have you showed great customer service skills etc
This highly depends on the person interviewing, they might just ask you 2 things and mention to you about what you would be doing in the job, or they think that you're working at a tech company and start jester asking you "why you want the job?" or ask 4 question like tell me a time where...?

Please tell me about yourself and what you've been doing for the past few years? Why would you like to work at the Coop?
OR

Can you tell me about a situation where you had to build a relationship with someone else at work?
Can you tell me about a time when you had to stand up for your position (or that of a friend) in a difficult situation?
Can you tell me about a time when you had to communicate important information to other people / to colleagues at work?
Can you tell me about a time at work, or elsewhere, where you've involved others to discuss a challenge or an issue?
Can you tell me about a time when you have taken ownership of a task/activity/project and made it a success?
Nice guy who interviewed me but took 3 week to reply. Found the interview preparation quite intense in relation to what the job was. Was told that 15 others were interviewed so wasn’t rly any hope of getting the job.
