I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Manchester, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
Overall it was fine with a virtual interview, and presentation, but also included an odd video recording section and a fairly pointless questionnaire. Negatives were the tightness of time, so felt rushed, whilst some elements appeared aimed at an internal candidate. View supported by how the process fizzled out. HR were very well organised.
Online application followed by a telephone interview and then a face to face interview with a local manager which included a numeracy and literacy test along with scenario based questions

Good and friendly. Wanted to make you feel comfortable. Good questions and happy to answer any questions I had. Show what is needed and how the day to day would be managed.

Interview
During this process you'll find out more about the job you've applied for, and record a short video answering some text based questions set by the hiring manager. It's a great opportunity to tell us why you're right for the job and why you want to work for Co-op.
