I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Coalition (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
I applied through an employee referral. The interview process was typical and smooth. It started with an online coding challenge that you can complete at your convenient time. It does have a 75 min time limit on the test once you start. Followed that was the virtual onsite 1:1 interviews that that you will meet typically four interviewers including technical lead, PM/EM or your potential teammate. My recruiter did an excellent job working around my schedule to set up the interviews. After each step I got feedback very quickly and was well informed of what to expect next. In each interview I was asked a mix of technical, behavior and work experience related questions. Overall it was a great experience. I got to learn a lot about their product and the business in general (which I'm new to). All the people I met with were pleasant to speak with.

I applied to the job posting I found on builtin and was contacted by a recruiter shortly after. The entire interview process was very well managed and conducted. The interviewers were incredibly professional and down to earth. Process consisted of initial phone screen, initial coding screen, and then a final round with more coding, a behavioral portion, and a system design session. The interview process was very well conducted, and I was provided with meaningful feedback throughout.
