Typical process with usual questions. Nothing special in it - might have some unusual stages due to your experience. Not a difficult interview. Company is in process of transition and doesn't have process nailed down.
Just be clear with expectations of compensation upfront - company might not be able to afford you. Company has an unusual vesting schedule that is very back-heavy as well - which makes them significantly less competitive in the marketplace due to no bonus structure. Talking to other people and looking here - it looks like the company might have trouble affording competitive talent. So... expect vague rejection letters when comp inevitably comes up.
Company seems to also be looking at skillset and not aptitude. I expect outsourcing soon based on that feedback. Be wary.
Personally - I wouldn't bother interviewing here again. It was a large waste of time that could've been resolved in the first 10 minutes of talking with a recruiter.

Walk me through best practices as a startup goes through changes
I only had an HR call, but the experience was very unprofessional. I greeted to him at the beginning, but he ignored me and directly started asking questions. At the end, he even hung up while I was still speaking. They were extremely rude and shows no respect.
I submitted my application and then was contacted by someone from the company. I did the first phone/behavioral interview but did not get to move past the first round of the interview.
My recruiter was awesome - scheduled quick calls before each round to tell me what to expect and answer my questions. I had 4 interviews (technical screen + onsite consisting of technical, behavioral, and a deep dive of a project I had worked on in the past). Interviews were all very collaborative and I felt like the interviewers genuinely wanted me to succeed. I had great communication throughout the entire process and felt well supported.
