I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coalition (Miramar, FL) in May 2023
Interview
The interview process commenced with a one-on-one discussion with my prospective manager. This was followed by an in-depth technical assessment to evaluate my skills and expertise. Subsequently, I underwent a Cultural Fit interview to ensure alignment with the company's values and ethos. The process culminated in a second, comprehensive technical interview to further gauge my proficiency in the role.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Coalition in Oct 2023
Interview
I was reached out by a recruiter for a phone screen which was a short interview about my background, what the job was about, and a couple of technical questions.
I interviewed with the hiring manager a few days later which was more a deep dive into the team and what they did along with more technical questions as well as a small coding problem.
After that, I did a system design interview with someone in the SRE org. I was then invited to a virtual onsite with 4 rounds split over 2 days: a behavioral interview with a director (bar raiser), a coding interview, sys design/coding interview, and an interview about a project I worked on before. All of the rounds included a behavioral question asked at the end that made sure I'm aligned with the company values.
The entire process took around a month, but that was because my schedule was packed. Everyone in the process was incredibly nice and communicative, I really felt like they valued culture, insisting on hiring nice people.
The hiring manager made himself available to me multiple times over the course of the process which is a great sign.
My recruiter, Dave, especially went out of his way to answer all my questions about the company (heavy emphasis on all my questions) and adjusted the interviews so they best fit my schedule.
This has been the best experience I've had interviewing with a company before. It was a smooth and streamlined process with no bumps. Having this kind of recruiting process in place shows to me they care about the people they hire.
