I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coalition in Aug 2023
Interview
Applied online, and got a referral from a former co-worker. There is no way I could've continued in the process if not for the referral. Applications were in the 400-600 after ~48 hours of being live on their website. First step was the recruiter screen. Immediately after that was a 60- min technical screen scheduled about a week later. The technical screen were a series of behavioral technical questions (e.g. tell me about a recent interesting project; tell me a time where you dealt with a hard problem, that sort of thing). That was about 30 mins. Next 20 mins was a medium - hard Leetcode data structures and algorithms question. I always question whether or not the goal is to actually get to a solution within 20 minutes, or to pseudocode a path. 20 minutes seems like not nearly enough time to solve med-hard leetcode questions. But hey...maybe I'm just not good enough at those questions. Spoiler: I didn't get a working solution in time. I assume that's what I didn't pass, and continue in the process.

I only had an HR call, but the experience was very unprofessional. I greeted to him at the beginning, but he ignored me and directly started asking questions. At the end, he even hung up while I was still speaking. They were extremely rude and shows no respect.
I submitted my application and then was contacted by someone from the company. I did the first phone/behavioral interview but did not get to move past the first round of the interview.
My recruiter was awesome - scheduled quick calls before each round to tell me what to expect and answer my questions. I had 4 interviews (technical screen + onsite consisting of technical, behavioral, and a deep dive of a project I had worked on in the past). Interviews were all very collaborative and I felt like the interviewers genuinely wanted me to succeed. I had great communication throughout the entire process and felt well supported.
