I submitted my resume about a little over a month before the first interview. I met with the recruiter and that went well so I then interviewed with the hiring manager. That went really well and we had a good conversation. I interviewed with 3 other people after that. It seemed to go fine with the first person but he seemed somewhat disinterested. The interview with the 2nd person was awful. He was rude and antagonistic and his attitude was unpleasant from the very start. I was told by the hiring manager that I didn't need experience in insurance but this person made it seem like I did. It was obvious he didn't like a single answer I provided to him. He seemed to think I had to have experience in the insurance industry but the hiring manager had said that was unnecessary. The 3rd person had a list of questions, sort of an interrogation style of interview. I was scheduled to interview with a senior executive a day later I received an email that it needed to be rescheduled. I wanted until the following week and still nothing rescheduled so I reached out to the recruiter to check on the status of my application, although I knew at that point that based on the 3 interviews with team members that it was over at that point. The recruiter let me know he'd look into it since someone else handled that portion of the process. The following day I got your standard rejection email. My impression was that it wouldn't have been a good work environment, especially having to work with the person who was so unpleasant/rude.
