The negative feedback concerns the interview with the VP of Marketing. Before that, every interview was professional, but they started a little late, which on Zoom is not as understandable as if it were in person. I had 2 interviews before "interviewing" with the VP. I use the word interviewing loosely. Each interviewer was prepared and professional, except for the VP. She seemed to have her own agenda, which was not to get to know the candidate's qualifications. What it turned into was an interrogation of information. The interview was recorded without consent, and direct questions on who my connections were regarding specific colleges I've worked at (asking to provide them by name?) were a bit much. Based on who has been hired to fill these roles in other regions, CodePath hires somewhat entry-level candidates for this position. It became apparent that the interview wasn't about whether I could do the job, but rather if CodePath could obtain my connections during the interview. It was the kind of interview that veered from "Tell me about your strengths" into "Tell me your secrets so we don’t have to hire you."
