COGNIZANT visited our college on 13th August.It was one of the day1 sharing companies.The recruitment was a 3 step process:

---->HR Interview
The written test was conducted my Merit Track. There was no negative marking
Reasoning-30 Questions – 30 minutes
Verbal-25 Questions – 30 minutes

I did the written test well and was shortlisted for the next process.
Technical Interview went like this
The first question was "Tell me about yourself"
Since I was from ece background the questions related to my subjects were asked like
what is an ic?
what are the advantages of an it?
what are flip flops, counters,registers?
What are different types of communication?
How do u convert an analog signal to digital?...... and many concepts...
I mentioned the projects in my resume which i had done. The tr asked me to explain the projects.
I explained two of them.Then he asked me few questions related to the projects.
He asked me what was my major project.I explained him the major project.
Sir asked me to write the c code for reversing a number and fibonaccii series using recursion.
After asking too many questions sir said "I am done.Do u have any questions?"
I asked few questions and the tr was over
I was made to wait for few minutes and then they called me for HR Interview.
what happened is that my hr was also completely techical.

HR asked me what i know about Cognizant.I answered.
I was selected.
Finally I suggest you to be confident.
INDIABIX is enough for aptitude,logical reasoning and verbal.
If you clear Tr then there is 90% chances of getting selected.
