I applied online. I interviewed at Colgate-Palmolive (Kuala Lumpur) in Jun 2023
Interview
Very biased interview process. They choose a bunch of candidates with marketing background and some with totally unrelated background so that it will be easier for them to pick who they already decided to pick. HR team is very nice but that doesn’t help when the sales and marketing team is full of dour faces and is very rude throughout the process and only nice to the ones they already like! I’d have turned down the offer even if I was selected because I can’t imagine working with those faces! 1. Video submission 2. Assessment centre Case study is related to marketing so those with that background will obviously stand out. Unfair process as a whole but thanks to this team, I’d never think of going for fmcg ever again!

Interview
There's three rounds of interview - video, group and solo. For me, it went quite smoothly and fast. But the waiting time to hear back after i applied for the job took quite awhile.

At first there will be a video interview, after that you will be interviewed as a group and a case study will be given on the spot and finally an interview with management.
