I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Colliers Engineering & Design (Trenton, NJ) in Sep 2016
Interview
Submitted my resume, received an email from recruiter, filled out application. I followed up nothing was available the matched my skills.
Less than a month later I was contacted by another recruiter ( the HR department is not that big) I was asked what I was looking for and what areas (locations), and set up for an interview. One interview, got the job!
One tip, be personable interviews are always intense but don't focus too much on why you want the job (as cliche, or mundane as it may seem) you're selling yourself, so try walking into the interview thinking why does 'A' company deserve me (minus cockiness). If you're successful, when you leave the interview and the roles would be reversed, management will try to find ways to get you to say yes.
