I had a panel interview first with 3 Administrators, then had to 'teach' a class relating to my subject matter to a group of professors in a variety of fields.

They asked how I would solve a problem with a student in a variety of circumstances.
I was referred by a colleague who could no longer teach due to scheduling issues. I was asked to come in by the department chair for an informal interview. Sat down with department chair and discussed my experience and what I would bring to the classes on the schedule. They called afterward to confirm that I was hired.
