Phone screen, 1st Interview with HM, group “call clinic” - basically doing their cold calling for free, panel interview with HM and Territory Managers you’ll hire aka sell for. As long as you have an outgoing personality, can talk a lot, and basically sell yourself they’ll hire you. No real recruiting experience needed. Red Flag! Proceed at your own risk.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. in Apr 2024
Interview
I recently experienced a multi-step interview process for a position that left much to be desired in terms of clarity and communication. Initially, I was told it would be a 2 or 3-step process, but it ended up being more complex. After meeting with the hiring manager, I was then scheduled for interviews with both territory managers. While one manager was great, the other seemed less engaged, which may have contributed to the position being open for several months.
Throughout the process, expectations varied significantly between the two managers, leading to confusion on my end. Despite my continued interest in the position, the lack of clear communication and prolonged process ultimately led me to accept another offer.
My advice for improvement would be to establish clear expectations and communication protocols from the outset of the hiring process. Top talent is unlikely to wait indefinitely for a decision. Additionally, hiring managers should take ownership of the recruitment process and ensure consistency and efficiency among all involved parties.
