Comcast Creative Coordinator interview questions

I applied for this position in April and never heard back. Months later I got an email asking if I wanted an interview. Quite frankly I almost forgot that I even applied for this position but I looked into the company, quickly remembered, and got pretty excited. I had two interviews with Comcast. One with a recruiter and another with a hiring manager. They both went super well. I made sure to check in with the recruiter daily (but not too often, of course.) At first, I received answers apologizing for the delay because the hiring manager was transitioning to a new state, which I found understandable. But then he settled and I still didn't have an answer other than a "we will get back to you later in the week" (which they never did.) I checked the job status on the website every day since the second interview, eager to find out since they said I should know within two weeks. More than a month went by. I finally gave it one last chance at checking in with the recruiter after getting ghosted by the company (mind you this is Comcast...thought they would be professional) and got my rejection email. Why did it take so long if they already knew the answer? I'm not even mad I didn't get the job, I'm just disappointed that this process took so long. Would have never expected such a thing from a company this big.
