      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2017

      Interview

I hope this review helps the next person know what to expect for Comcast hiring process and to let them know to be patient throughout the process. It took exactly 2 months to get an offer. I applied January 4 and was contacted via phone from a recruiter. The recruiter asked to have a 30 minute phone interview with me to see if I was a match for the position. Once that was done, that same day I was sent an assessment that was about an hour long. They asked some behavioral questions and also had a small simulation of you answering customers calls and selecting the best customer solution. A couple days later, I was contacted via email to schedule an in person interview at the office I was applying. The in person interview was actually an information session. You were in a room with about 20-25 other candidates interested in the position, and they give you a overview of the company, what to expect, the starting pay, benefits, and all the goods and back of the position which lasted about an hour. After the session, different supervisors pulled everyone one by one to have an individual interview, and then was told if interested, you will be contacted within 7-10 business days. Luckily for me, I was contacted in about 4 days via email with a preliminary offer letter asking if I would consent to a background and drug test. I got sent the emails 3 days after signing the offer letter. You have exactly 48 hours from the day you receive the emails to get both done. With the background check, make sure you answer every question accurately and the best to your knowledge, because the background check took the longest to get back, almost about 3 weeks for everything to come back. Once the background check came back, everything was smooth sailing then. All you do is consent to a schedule, fill out your tax survey, and sign your final offer letter. The whole process was easy, you just have to be patient. The recruiter was responding to emails in a timely manner and answered all my questions I had about the hiring process.
