Not long after applying for the job, I got an offer to do a 20-30 minute interview from a contract recruiter. He said to expect an automated email to be generated shortly which included a link to go through several steps to get to the recruiter's calendar and pick a date/time.
The interview itself was very basic with asking general questions about my work experience. At the end, the recruiter came out and told me what the salary was for the role. It was very, very low by California standards and I admit I did show some hesitation on the phone about it, however I was still interested in pursing the job because it could open the door for other opportunities. The recruiter said I would hear something back in the next week or two and the call ended. I even sent a standard thank you note via email afterwards.
Weeks went by and nothing. I even tried to reach back out to the recruiter via phone and email, but he never responded. If this is how Comcast treats applicants, I would not want to work for a company like that. A simple "thanks, but no thanks" would have sufficed.
