I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast (Lanham, MD) in Apr 2015
Interview
Long... Started off with a powerpoint presentation showing why you want to work here. THere was about 12 people in the room so it took over two hours; they do offer coffee, tea or water while you wait. The presentation shows Benefits mostly and the ability for promotion. You have to stay in job for one year at entry level before moving anywhere else. Had fourteen (some questions were repetitive) on different examples of customer service, irate customers, examples of upselling, selling, how you handle rejection, stress, customer yelling out, mostly behavioral questions. I ran out of examples and had to repeat same example on a couple questions. It took me 20 minutes; but some people were taking 40 minutes depending on how much you like to talk. Drug test and background test after you are hired.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I am currently internal so I applied online. Had a 15 minute screening call with the recruiter asking basic questions. First interview was with hiring manager. Very conversational with a couple "formal" questions. Second interview with the sales team. More difficult trying to drill down to how I work and why I should be chosen.
Very professional, interviewer was polite, thorough, timely, asked relevant questions. I was made to feel comfortable and I would describe it as a pleasant experience. I would recommend applying for positions with this company

Question 1
How do you handle difficult/challenging conversations
There was an assessment followed by a phone interview with a recruiter then a virtual panel interview with a senior manager and two supervisors. The phone interview was no more than 20 mins and the panel interview was 45mins. I received an offer after a week.
