EXTREEMLY LONG PROCESS! I was actually contacted by a recruiter who found my resume on Career Builder. She contacted me on Friday via email and asked me to complete a phone interview on Saturday. She asked me to quickly go online and complete the application and the online assessment. I was scheduled for a group hiring event that following week. I had an interview with 2 supervisors. Late the following week I was sent emails to complete a drug test and a background check along with a preleminary offer of employment. I got an email back saying they found something in my background and they wanted an explanation. It was from 2003 and I honestly didn't recall exact details. Now today is October 12, 2015 and I began the interviews September 5, 2015 and I still do not have any word from Comcast about if they are actually going to extend an offer or not. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PROCESS FOR SOMEONE WHO IS READY TO WORK NOT TO MENTION THEIR TURN OVER IS HIGH SO DOING SUCH AN INDEPTH BACKGROUND CHECK SEEMS A LITTLE SILLY AT THIS POINT IN THE GAME. Now I will add the face to face interview questions were all worded negative. It was all about being able to handle upset customers and mean angry people and high stress situations.
