The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Compass Group (Cheltenham, England)
Interview
Applied online to work as a staff member on the race-days. Thought it would be interesting to experience working at a busy event and learn something.
Got invited to an interview a 7 days before race week. Had the option to take on different jobs and left us with the choice of what we wanted. I chose a customer service facing role.
Received my job card the day before the orientation. Told I would be litter picking. Declined the next day when they couldn’t transfer me to another role.
My advice: Don’t be open about the work you want to do. Stick to a single choice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Compass Group (Edmonton)
Interview
Easy, the process took about two weeks from submission to interview. Asked some questions about past experience, how job relates, scenario based questions, and basic questions on food safety, and how i'd handle a deadline/stressful environment.
