Initially they were very quick with the steps. I submitted the application along with the faith affirmation which included my faith affirmation, church affiliation, and all Ministries where I serve and lead. Then the hirevue digital interview which I thought went well. I was able to answer the questions in the time alloted and gave examples of my experience in each area. Then it got strange bc there was no response. Not even a thanks but no thanks. A month later I got an email saying they were very impressed with me as a candidate but to their surprise an internal candidate applied and she just swept them away with her qualifications. Yeah, ok. I believe the internal candidate was the one they were looking to hire all along which is perfectly fine and makes sense. Just don't have people jump thru hoops and waste time when that's the plan anyway. Would have liked to work there but I must admit proving my faith did seem kind of cult-ish. Been in church all my life, saved for as long as I can remember, and love the Lord with all my heart...hard stop. Having to tell my testimony and "prove" my faith in multiple ways to a potential employer did feel like cult requirements.
