Applied through a recruiter. The process took roughly six weeks. Four rounds of interviews, all of them on Teams calls. The second round was with the hiring manager, which was easy and straightforward, but the third round was a total of five separate interviews with a bunch of directors and senior directors in somewhat related roles to the position. I was told this was the final round, but it was not. The fourth round was with a VP. All told, I had a total of eight separate interviews for this role. I was impressed by their ability to organize so many senior leaders so quickly around the role, and I applaud their commitment to finding the right candidate. However, I do question the need for so many people to provide feedback. If you need an entire committee to decide who to hire, you probably don’t know who you need.
