I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ConocoPhillips in Oct 2009
Interview
Applied through the university website, got a call and interviewed with them. They were really friendly and made me feel comfortable. I originally applied for an upstream position but I was interviewed for a downstream position as they did not need an electrical engineering intern in upstream. The interview consisted of general behavioral questions.

Were kind and catered towards my location preferences. There were 2 interviewers and the environment seemed open ended. Easy conversation. They asked a few questions about myself, and wanted to know what I am looking to gain in the future.
