The interview process was: The recruiter got back to me within a few days of me submitting my application. That was great. We scheduled a phone interview via email. The phone interview went ok. The recruiter was pretty new herself, so her lack of knowledge in some areas was understandable, but she was very nice and passionate about the company. By the end of the interview, it was clear she wanted to pass me on to the next stage, and asked me to send a portfolio and complete an assessment, which I did. Then I never heard anything from them. Almost as if they forgot about me. I expect my salary requirements were too high so they just passed on me, or maybe it was something else but I’ll never know because I never heard from them again. it It felt like they were either too disorganized or too unconcerned to bother following up with me. The process made me feel devalued overall, and even though they seemed like a good company to work for, they probably still have work to do in the accountability/follow-up department of their HR department is indicative of their overall functioning (which it may or may not be, I don’t know).
