My interview was exceptionally easy. The person interviewing me was energetic, funny, and very professional. From the time that I emailed in my resume to interview day there was only a 3 day lead time. I have to say that it was the most laid back interview that I have ever had. I felt completely comfortable the whole time during the interview and didn't get nervous at all during any time of it. I personally thought it was because my interviewer seemed really excited to interview me because I was interviewing for an exact same job that I had previously done with another company that is one of their local competitors. (There was another job and 3 yrs inbetween so I wasn't just walking into "enemy camp" to scope it out.) My perceptions on the office and the people working there at first was that everyone got along and were completely comfortable with each other. Which was a nice change from past interviews that I have been to. While I was finishing up with filling out some extra paperwork (not new-hire paperwork) one of their employees came in the office and asked the interviewer really loud, "Have you hired her yet?" After being pointed out, everyone got really quite. So that sent some mixed messages there. Needless to say it has been almost two weeks since the interview and haven't heard anything back yet, so I am taking that as a sign that I didn't get the job- but still, it was nice to have an interview where I felt completely comfortable in the enviroment I was interviewed in that didn't include any ridiculous role- playing questions involving things that would never happen in real life.
