      Marketing Communications Manager Interview

      Feb 20, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cornell University

      Interview

My interview was a three part interview that took place over the course of a month. Each of these interview was an hour in lenght. The process itself was smooth, and I was under the assumption they wanted to fill the role quickly. Due to this position being rather exciting, I made myself flexible to their requests, often asking me to take these interviews with one day notice. I thought the interviewers were friendly, and I was hopeful. However, after these in-depth interviews, I was ghosted after the final stage. I finally received an answer after I inquired three weeks later (I was ghosted during the first three follow-ups, and finally received my answer after contacting someone else who had been on the interview panel.) Overall, I understand choosing applicants based on what is best for the company. That being said, I think open communication after a multi stage interview is a common courtesy that should be respected.
