Typical academic process, which I think is quite stressful:
1) Application package with CV, letter, references, research and teaching statement, writing samples.
2) Skype interview, about 45min, with the search committee, on standard questions. Why do you want to work here, what is your teaching experience, how can you contribute to the department, etc.
3) 2-day on-campus visit, with a 1h open seminar, a 1h talk on research and teaching plans with faculty only, lunch/dinners with faculty, and 13 one-to-one 30 to 60-min interviews with faculty members and students.
