BEWARE: Bayer Materials Science (MS) was spun off. Bayer could not sell MS division so they are spinning it off to stand alone company and doing IPO. This means they do not want MS division. Bayer recruited me for the interview and I found out through research about the spin off. I had to bring it up to their recruiter and ask about it during interview. applied late April. Contacted by internal (Bayer) recruiter in early June. Onsite interview in early june. 5 min phone interview to see if you pass a checklist of qualifications. Contacted me very quickly for onsite interview. Onsite interview was about 1.5 hours. very easy panel interview. Overall the recruiting process was easy and straightforward.
