I applied online through SnagAJob, and the next day I received an email from them about calling to schedule an interview! I called a few days later, asked to speak with a Manager, and she scheduled an interview with me for the next day! I arrived about 15 minutes early, asked for a manager, and was seated in the dining area. 10 minutes later, a manager approached me and interviewed me. It was way more relaxed than I thought it would be, and it felt more like a conversation. He asked me a few questions, we talked a bit about my experience with Cracker Barrel (As a guest), and asked if I had any questions for him. Afterwards, he shook my hand and told me I was hired:) Later that evening I filled out the background check form he emailed me and six days later I received an email welcoming me to the Cracker Barrel Family! I got there at 3:45 PM, and was out of the door by 4:10 PM! My advice to you is to smile and maintain eye contact! I have no prior work experience and when I questioned the manager about the skills they're seeking he told me he couldn't care less, because they will teach me the skills. He said he's focused more on a candidate's character and polite/welcoming demeanor because that's what he can not teach. So if that's something you're worried about, don't!!!! Good luck!
