I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Houston, TX) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied for this position online. I received a email two days later that asked me to call and schedule a interview. So I called and spoke to the store manager. The store manager wanted me to have the interview with only about a 1 1/2 hours notice. Which I found somewhat odd. The manager was only available for an interview at that same time one week later. So I continued to pursue other offers.

Interview
They sent me an email confirming a time and day, then told me to come back later because it was "too busy". Came back and waited almost an hour for a 5 minute interview along with another guy for the same position. The manager interviewed me and said the hiring manager wasn't in today. Pretty disorganized.
Just met with GM for a quick interview and got hired on the spot; asked about previous experience and availability. Very casual and quick process overall. Was also scheduled for orientation
Simple and to the point. Met with a manager and was asked basic questions. Where have you worked and what is your goals in the future. I applied for dishwasher so you wouldn't expect complicated questions.
