I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Erie, PA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Recommended by a server I knew from a previous job. Filled out an application while eating and a manager came out to talk with me for a bit. Had a separate interview where the job was described to me. Hired that day and training began 1 week later.
Very easy, get to know you interview. Just be yourself, stay relaxed, ask thoughtful questions, and if you vibe with the interviewer, curiosity, confidence, and authenticity, you will get hired.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Charleston, WV) in Aug 2025
Interview
Asked for previous experience. Asked for availability. Wanted to know how many hours I wanted and what I wanted for pay. They described the position, gave a short intro about the company, and everything went great
The manager seemed to have little knowledge on the position I was applying for and I ended up politely ending the interview because I knew it wouldn't work out for me.
