I had a job interview with Cracker Barrel on Friday, July 20th, 2018 at 3 to 5 p.m. There was only me and this late teen or early 20 something year old boy that was there for an interview. He talked about what the position entails, how the females should wear makeup , the uniform had to be iron. He, also, told me that he didn't like to micro-manage. He couldn't tell that working and having a job were the same thing, so I went along pretend that those two words had different meanings, so I could get hired. He was putting off bad vibes and he was making it feel like the Cracker Barrel wasn't as friendly as they would have like it to be or what they keep telling people. I gave him my resume at the beginning of the interview. He ask what restaurant that I like and I told him the truth...Cracker Barrel. He laugh like I wasn't telling the truth. He ask for another restaurant and I told him Olive Garden. He had me repeat everything that he told me about what a hostess would do. By the way, I knew what a hostess would do, because that was the very first type of job that I got when I first started working. I was Cashier/Hostess for Wendy's. His poor attitude made me not want to work there much less eat there ever again. Wow, way to drive your customers away. At the end, he shook my hand and made sure that my email address was correct. He, also, told me that if I didn't hear back from him by Tuesday, July 24th that I wasn't hired. Well, tomorrow is Tuesday. I left feeling confused, because the manager's poor attitude throughout the interview and didn't figure I would get the job.
