Interview
Don't prepare too much, was 2-step interview process.
1st: your particular manager, in my case, was retail manager. Then, if he/she likes you, they will pass you on to store manager. Was fairly easy, but expect to know how to sell something.
2nd: store manager: depends on the individual, but mine was a bit more intense. Just be yourself, show confidence, remain professional and you will get the job.
This is a great company to work for, and I loved every minute of it.
it was horrible ZERO communication whatsoever i went in for the interview and spoke to the manager beforehand and i came in, asked to speak to the manager and she wasnt even there. still got my interview tho and then got told i wasnt going to be sonsidered right then and there. it hurt myfeelings

Interview
The date set-up interview process was automatic, yet the in person portion was inside of the restaurant. They set me up at a table and I waited for the manager. The manager asked me questions of my skills, experience, how I would describe myself and my approach to the customer.
The interview process was easy and very non-stressful. They asked general questions about why I wanted to work at Cracker Barrel and about my availability. I was interviewed in the dining area, so plan your interview during a time that's less busy.
