I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Knoxville, TN) in Jun 2014
Interview
I was called into the store on a non-busy time during the week after applying online through Indeed.com. I sat down with the assistant manager and general manager. They asked me questions about my availability and previous working experiences. I was hired on the spot upon filling out a paper application.
Very easy, get to know you interview. Just be yourself, stay relaxed, ask thoughtful questions, and if you vibe with the interviewer, curiosity, confidence, and authenticity, you will get hired.
The manager seemed to have little knowledge on the position I was applying for and I ended up politely ending the interview because I knew it wouldn't work out for me.
Good walked in and the General Manager just asked why I wanted to work at his restaurant. Was hired on the spot. this was the easiest interview I have ever had and the General manager was really nice.
