I applied online. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Manassas, VA) in Apr 2023
Interview
I did really well on the interview, but most of it was convincing me to become a waitress since the original position I applied for was dishwasher. Apparently all the positions for dishwasher were filled for awhile. Seems like something they could’ve told me about before I came in. I was looking for a second job and wasn’t really looking to be a server again since it can be exhausting. They then tried to tell me how normal it was and even justifiable how low the wages are…but why would I do that
I was interviewed recently for getting rehired and it was lovely. Management really has my back here. I am glad to be back. I thoroughly enjoy working where I feel heard and understood.
Very fast and easy, asked very straight forward questions. Everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend anyone that has food industry experience to apply. They respond very quickly to applications as well.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Greensboro, NC) in Feb 2024
Interview
Fairly easy. No background or drug testing because there is high turnover. They did make me wait for an hour just to be interviewed and it wasn't busy. It lasted all of ten minutes and I got the job.
