I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Bremen, GA)
Interview
I had two interviews. The first one I waited 40 minutes then the manager approached me and told me he was busy and I would just have to come back. So I came back a week later and waited an hour . I interviewed with the general Manger, who pretended he wasn't the manager and changed his story quite a few times. He didn't ask me any interview questions, he just asked me why I couldn't work mornings and where I went to school. He then said he'll call me in a few days and when I reached to shake his hand, he walked off. Both managers were horribly rude, it wasn't a good experience at all.
The interview was easy. They know most of these servers are just starting out. But they want you to know how to upsell, and how to work in a fast pace environment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Shrewsbury, PA) in Nov 2025
Interview
It went pretty well, just asked the norm, such as tell me a little about yourself and why do you want to work here. Just asked simple questions and told me I had the job and what day to come in next. I applied to be a server and they told me I would get 25 hours a week, but they ended up making me a to-go specialist and I’m getting like 6 hours a week. I also didn’t get scheduled for a month after my interview but I’m working a bit now.

Question 1
Give me a situation with a difficult customer and how you handled it
Very easy, seems like they were looking for a pulse. Mine was done at the checkerboard in the dining room. not a difficult job, so not a difficult interview. I don't remember any specific questions
