Not too stiff of a process. It was at a conference in Atlanta and felt informal, but still serious. We sat down at the conference for a one on one interview. It was very much about my goals and my vision for my future. I could tell the company wants people who will be great assets and stick around.

All Crane Interviews proceed in 3 stages:
1. HR Phone Interview - Preliminary Screening, standard questions to ensure you understand the role and meet their guidelines. Followed up by a questionaire (Big five Personality Test)
2. A 3-4 hour in person panel interview. Includes: HR Representative, Hiring manager, and 1-2 other managers typical peers or subordinates of the hiring manager depending on the position.
3. A sit down interview with senior leadership, typical a VP or Higher (Depending on position) + References are typically contacted at this point as well.

They will review all work experience you have. Company, positions, reason for leaving, what you liked, what you didn't like, how would your manager describe you good/bad, what did you learn from the experience. (They are looking for consistency, professionalism, and identifying standard red flags.
Technical questions may be asked depending on experience and job. If they don't know or understand your background they will guess at what may be considered technical.
