      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Mar 2026

      Interview

I went through the initial HR round and was later informed that another candidate had been selected. At the same time, I was told that the team was impressed with my profile and wanted to consider me for another opportunity within the organization. Following that, I completed an assignment and a technical interview. After a week of no updates, I followed up and was asked to go through an additional round with the India team. Throughout this entire process, all stakeholders were fully aware of my prior experience and how it differed slightly from the role requirements. After completing multiple rounds over several weeks, I followed up again, only to be informed that I was not suitable. This is difficult to justify, given that my background was known from the outset and I was encouraged to continue through each stage. If the requirement was always for a very specific skill set and I was not eligible based on my experience then it’s unclear why I was asked to go through multiple rounds for another opportunity in the first place. This resulted in nearly a month of time being invested, only to receive vague feedback that does not provide any meaningful clarity. Overall, the process reflects a clear lack of alignment and led to an unnecessary investment of time.
