I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting (Washington, DC) in Mar 2022
Interview
Round 1: Phone Screen with recruiter.
Round 2: Video Interview with hiring manager.
Round 3, 4, 5: Three separate video "virtual on-sites" with multiple team members (which CrossCountry cancelled)
24 hours before the first virtual on-site was to take place, the recruiter reached out to me to cancel because they already hired someone internal for the role.
During the recruiting process I also observed a couple of inconsistencies in the written and the actual job description: 1) The job description on LinkedIn had a title of "manager" but the job level stated "director"; and 2) The work location said "100% remote" but the recruiter indicated it was actually an on-site position.
