I’ll start off by saying that I’ve worked in this industry for about 5+ years for another autonomous vehicle company. Needless to say, I was very excited about this company as I already knew a lot about them. The first interview went well after a phone call with a recruiter. The next was a zoom interview that was also pretty generic but I felt good about. The third interview was extremely unprofessional. The interviewer did not take the time to get to know me and also blamed me for connection problems with my internet. My internet connection was perfectly fine with the first zoom call only minutes prior to this one. He seemed irritated as if he just wanted the interview to be over. I felt extremely disrespected by the way he seemed to answer questions for me making me feel like I wasn’t giving the response he wanted to hear. I’ve been in a position to interview potential hires for many years and I have never conducted an interview as poorly as this one. After this I was sent a rejection letter, but later received another email stating I wasn’t supposed to receive that initial email. Totally disappointed in cruise as a company. Unorganized and unprofessional.
