Interview
Phone call interview, then found out pay was only $13 hourly instead of the $17 as advertised. Required working 8pm-9pm weekdays and weekends. Brought into back storage/office room (if you even want to call it that) and asked a decent amount of questions in how I had a leadership role.

Interview
When I entered the building, one of the upfront desk ladies was being nice and asked me to wait at the table. I was waiting there for a good ten minutes and I noticed the person I was to meet was just standing there at the front desk chatting with the ladies the whole time before he finally made his way over to me. I kept noticing he was profusely sweating during the entire interview and was talking really fast. It was actually pretty cool in there, so I found that very strange. He kept asking me “Are we done yet? Or “Anything else?” after nearly every response I gave. Like it seemed he was in a rush to get this interview over with as if he has something better to do or more important, which felt absolutely unprofessional. The position listed was that of an assistant manager of the gym, but it during the interview it was revealed it was only for a front desk associate position. One thing I thought was contradictory was that he said “the company doesn’t hand out manager positions to people, they need to earn it.” However, when I asked how he got his job he said “I applied for it and they gave it to me.” He couldn’t tell me what they pay was or even the range, but it didn’t stop him from telling me how much he makes and was boasting about it. I was told I’d get a call back the next day, however it’s been a week. However, I’m glad I didn’t as I wouldn’t want to work for a person/company that knowingly misleads people, is unprofessional and is only about themselves in terms of money.
