This was during COVID, so they wanted a phone interview first with a recruiter on the opposite side of the country. I passed the first interview with flying colors, they schedule me for a follow-up, then later I got an e-mail saying the position had been filled. A couple weeks later the recruiter reaches out to me and asks why I didn't show up for my onsite interview. I tell her what happened and she got very snarky and borderline irate with me over her own mistake. Hmm. They still wanted a follow-up interview and I declined.
