Corporate recruiter, exams, tandem interviews, results... employees warned that others may be chosen over me because of proximity of where they live, not having to move, more work experience, less factors to balance outside the workplace. Odd questions were formed to avoid standard, direct questions- awkward. Twice, when recruiter or manager claimed response would occur in a few days, the responses came in a week or longer. I was very thorough with the corporate recruiter in acquiring information about the company. By the time I had taken the exams and met with interviewers, I expected more detailed, probing questions regarding my skills- not pre-judgments about whether I️ could move quick enough or handle being away from my child, regularly.
