Interview started with an initial phone screening with HR, followed by another phone interview with a Sales Manager. Within the week I was in the office and had four one-on-one interviews, lunch with two Sales Associates, shadowed a Sales Associate, and a final wrap-up with HR. From what I've heard I am one of the few who made it through an interview day without meeting anyone from senior management, but from my understanding they were all out of the office when I was there.
Overall the process was quick and efficient, and I felt let I knew what was going on and more or less what to expect. Before my second phone interview my HR rep told me what to do to prepare, and before I came into the office I was provided with two webinars to watch to prepare me to talk about Cvent's products.
At the time I was in the interview process with several other companies in the IT/Software industries in sales roles. Overall I found Cvent to be personable, invested in the process, and very committed to finding the right fit. HR knew who I was when they spoke to me, remembered conversations we had, responded promptly, and ultimately made me feel like more than a resume or application that had passed through their system. Everyone else I met was open, welcoming, and offered both advice and insight that felt genuine rather than showy.
