Interview
The process took about two to three weeks and it was very thorough. As soon as I applied, I received an email within the next day or so to fill out a questionnaire as well as a 2-part assessment that was behavioral then a test which was like the SAT/GRE. The first interview was with a HR recruiter and she was very nice and it was brief. The next interview was with the head Representative that I would be working under and then a Skype interview with the HR recruiter again to take the assessment again under video surveillance. After that, I was invited to the Tysons HQ and it was a loooong day. I shadowed someone in my role for 45 minutes then did 4 one-on-one interviews with different Sales Leads for about 30 mins each. The HR recruiter then wrapped up the interviews and said that it would take a few days to deliberate if I was right for the job.

What's something about you that's not on your resume?
Lots of questions regarding different scenarios such as: name a time you faced adversity, name a time you were told no and how did you respond, if you were company CEO of any company, what kind of employees would you hire, etc.

Interview
Apart from the Recruitment Associate being quick to respond and easy to communicate with, everything else was distasteful. After an initial screening call, I was scheduled to speak with the hiring manager, Went well however my expected salary was above what they were prepared to offer so they got back the next day that they would like to put me through another SDR role in a different product within the company so I had to be interviewed by the other hiring manager. Interview was scheduled for 2nd Feb at 6pm to 630pm. Waited 15 mins however no one joined the call. Reached out to the recruiter and she said the hiring manager is busy so we rescheduled to 6th Feb as a confirmed timeslot from their end. 6th Feb came and I was in the call and same thing happened. 15 mins passed and no one joined. Reached out to recruiter but this time she didn't reply me till next day and informed the same reason again - hiring manager was busy. I thought it is very disrespectful of candidate's time as I accommodated to an early evening time slot to cater to the time zone difference despite having to work in office. Thankful I did not take leave from work as it would be a complete waste. I chose to disregard the opportunity that Cvent had because it is not worth the time and effort. I recommend to skip Cvent. Bad culture from the get-go
