I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cvent in Oct 2019
Interview
Total waste of time...
Contacted through LinkedIn by a ISGF recruiter named Sarah. First call was sales pitch on Cvent and her recruiting firm. Received info following call on how to tweak resume and prepare for interview with Cvent HR. Invested considerable time doing so.
Call with Cvent HR was long and seemingly productive - told . Was told to expect a call with hiring manager soon. Sarah confirmed a few days later on a Friday with glowing feedback.
Left VM for Sarah on Monday to arrange next call. Next day received disingenuous email saying plans changed and Cvent pursuing another applicant.
Believe the other reviews about Cvent.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent (Tysons Corner, VA) in Dec 2024
Interview
3-4 stages with phone screening, and zooms. Very quick process with many people involved in the process. Did not get back to me at the end though. Use your recruiter a lot for questions and to make sure you're prepared.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cvent (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was very long and in my opinion pointless. There were two tests one administered. There were three interviews. The last one was two hours with 4 people. I thought the interview went positively but I was rejected. I really thought at that point I would have an offer. My recruiter said they are really picky but are always asking for help. They did not even provide him the feedback. I feel I should at least get that.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cvent
Interview
Not worth it - lengthy interview for a job that is going to work recent college grads to the bone. Math test required (think IQ test) and lots of generic interview questions. They do mass interviews in one period.
