I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA) in Jan 2010
Interview
Although initially a little unsure about Cvent, the more I learned about Cvent the more I was impressed. And then I had the interview.
The interview process starts with an application process, followed by a brief with an admin assistant. About a week later I spoke with a division manager over the phone and then had a webinar that explained the services and products offered. Another week passed and I had an interview with 4 different people one of one: one was a team leader who had been with the company for a while, the next was with the division manager who I had spoken with over the phone, next I spoke with a manager of a sister division and finally I spoke with a VP of sales. Finally I shadowed an employee.
The 4 person interview was a little intimidating and I really didn't like each interviewer pretty much asked the same questions. I think I might have messed up my interview by telling the first employee that I would probably like to go to grad school eventually. Truthfully I think the job would have been pretty boring but there seemed to be room for advancement.
What really irked me about the whole experience was that they did not contact me after the final interview, even when I called and left a message requesting status notification,--and they said they would regardless of whether I was given the position. Also although I sent a message to all the interviewers, thanking them, etc, only the guy I shadowed responded. I understand that Cvent might not have enough time to contact everyone, but they shouldn't say that they will contact you when they have made a decision. Perhaps it's petty, but I would have preferred even an email to let me know that I did not get the job.
The work culture seemed pretty laid back. A lot of younger people.

There was screening first, then Group Discussion, then various assessment tests, then level 1 and 2 interviews. There is a lot of time between the rounds that get wasted due to a lot of waiting.
