Interview
HR literally robbed me of my chance to even try for candidature consideration process.
I applied via their careers site to the job and got a response from some other HR regarding how the CCAT and personality test will take place before a candidate is even considered. The same HR shared assessment preparation links for CCAT and the mail stated that whenever I am ready, I'll receive a video link for the proctored assessment. I was going through those links and started preparing, it took me 2 weeks to prepare because I wanted to be confident enough to clear it.
However, before I could send the mail that I am reay for the assessment, on a Friday night post 8 PM, I received a call from the "HR" (this HR was different from the one mailed me) without any prior intimation. The HR introduced herself and started generally talking about my application and then suddenly revealed that before CCAT, there is an HR screening process that is happening right now!!
I was skeptical as to why this is happening without any prior intimation via email?
Then, the brilliant HR judged me in just 3 minutes of the telephonic conversation that I am not fit for the role. I mean come on, what about the CCAT and candidate consideration process? You rejected me based on an unprepared phone call received at an odd time and robbed me of my chance to give CCAT. What is this? I wish I could escalate this incident to the upper management. But I guess I might sound like a fox who says the grapes are sour because it cannot have them. But this was bad! Shallow judgment and no respect for the candidate.
Please remember that you are the HR of the company, you are not Simon Cowell judging a talent show, at least, pass judgment based on the performance of the candidate based on that 'job profile' and not on an unprepared phone call!

The recruiter don't respond to your call, messages and emails, if you are not selected. Even if you are at your last round of interview, which is unprofessional and unethical.
