The process went smoothly; I passed the first round with a design manager, and then I was given a design assignment. I started working on the design challenge, and they asked me to take an aptitude test, which I agreed to because it was part of the interview process. Unfortunately, I failed the aptitude test, but I completed the design challenge. I didn't hear anything for two days, so I called HR to check on the situation, and he said that the design challenge assignment wouldn't matter to them if someone didn't pass an aptitude test. I was stunned to learn this because I was applying for a design position, and the design assignment is the primary means of determining a candidate's suitability for the role. However they refused me to take my candidacy further. So I would not recommend this company for a design position because they are making judgement based on an aptitude rather than his/her skills for the position they’re applying.
