I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA) in Jun 2010
Interview
I got a call from the HR team and asked if they could schedule a 20 minute phone screen. I agreed and 24 hours later i spent about 30 minutes on the phone with one of their sales people. Very professional and asked pretty probing questions about what i was interested in. I then came in to the office for almost a full day of interviews. I met with 6 people, was taken to lunch by 2 associates who were similar to my age and spent 1 hour with the CEO telling me his view of the company. I was amazed about how open and friendly everyone was. I then met with the CEO for a full 30 minutes and he asked me what my career goals were and gave me some thoughts on how we thought Cvent would help meet them. I went to 6 interviews at pretty high end companies and Cvent blew all of them away. The really wanted to make sure it was the right fit for me. I had to wait some time between interviews, but i was okay with that because i met a VP, a Director and the CEO - really amazing how much time they put into recruiting.
